The A’s got back to winning ways with an opening round win in the FAI Junior Cup this afternoon.

Danny opened the scoring with a long range screamer, with Zach doubling the lead after good work from Johnie.

With the lads two to the good at half time, the second half task was made more comfortable with the dismissal of 2 of the home sides players.

The gloss was put on the win late in the game with the returning Tommy Griffin getting the 3rd. Dylan scored his second goal in 24hrs, while Fionn rounded off the scoring with his first A goal of the season.

A good workout with plenty of minutes gained across the squad.

We would like to thank Karol Geoghegan of the Geoghegan's Magpie Bar and B&B for funding the team bus today which is much appreciated by the club 🚌

The lads are away to Breska Rovers in round 2 after their 3-2 win against Lifford today.
